Hi, I’m Gerrelyn!

I’m Gerrelyn Glico-Wong, an authorised Marriage Celebrant based in beautiful Adelaide, South Australia, and I’m always happy to travel wherever your love story takes me.

I’ve been a celebrant since 2014, and over the years I’ve had the absolute privilege of marrying more than 450 beautiful, happy couples. And honestly? I still get excited about every single wedding. Every couple is different, every love story is unique, and that’s exactly what I love most about what I do.

If you ask my family and friends to describe me, they’ll probably tell you I’m bubbly, cheerful, friendly, easygoing, a little bit loud, always smiling and someone who genuinely loves being around people. I love a good laugh, I love hearing people’s stories, and I’m definitely a sucker for love!

I’m also a wife and a mum of two most adorable and cheekiest boys, and family means absolutely everything to me. I’ve now been happily married to my husband for 10 years, so I understand that a wedding isn’t only about one beautiful day — it’s about celebrating the beginning of a marriage, a partnership, and a life you’re choosing to build together.

Becoming a celebrant felt like such a natural fit for me. Growing up, my parents taught me the importance of love, commitment, family and being there for the people who matter most. Those values have stayed with me throughout my life and have shaped the way I approach every ceremony I create.

So, what am I like as a celebrant?

I’m modern, relaxed, organised, positive and definitely not boring!

I don’t believe your wedding ceremony should feel stiff, awkward or like something you’ve heard a hundred times before. It should feel like YOU.

Whether you want something romantic and heartfelt, relaxed and light-hearted, full of laughter, short and sweet, or a beautiful mixture of everything, I’ll work with you to create a ceremony that feels natural, personal and completely authentic to the two of you.

My job is not only to legally marry you. I’m also there to guide you, support you, calm the nerves, tell your story, keep things running smoothly and make the whole ceremony-planning process feel as easy and enjoyable as possible.

After more than a decade of standing beside couples on one of the biggest days of their lives, I can confidently say that I truly love what I do.

I’ve laughed with my couples, cried with them, celebrated with their families, witnessed some incredibly beautiful moments and collected so many wonderful memories along the way.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
